PAA is a leading Advocacy organisation in Australia for Pasifika peoples from Polynesian, Melanesian and Micronesian backgrounds. We recognise the absence of appropriate cultural programs to cater for Pasifika families in Australia.

I am excited to advise our Pasifika community that Pasifika Advocacy Australia Incorporated (PAA) is in its final stage in relation to all ground level tasks before we start applying for grants.

PAA is striving to provide prevention, early intervention and crisis support to reduce vulnerability, disadvantage, domestic and family violence, crimes, suicides, stereotypes, etc.

PAA will be a vehicle to influencing and informing local communities throughout Australia so that PAA will become a recognised specialist leader in advocacy for Pasifika families and individuals.

PAA is committed to strength based and client centred practice service provision.

PAA aims to develop sustainable systems and initiatives that are Pasifika culturally and community driven and future informed.

PAA is committed to utilise ‘sustainable development goals’ for its continuous improvement through evaluation, reflection, and the dedication to excellence.

I sincerely express my gratitude and acknowledgement to our sponsors, donors and our dedicated members of our Management Committee. I thank you for your time, efforts, commitment and an ongoing support in shaping PAA’s future.

I would like to encourage all Pasifika women, men and young people to become members and get involved to make a significant difference to our Pasifika community.

Let us all come together and work together towards a bright future for our peoples whilst we live, work and play a part in Australian society.

I wish to thank all our members, donors and in particular our Management Committee members for their time, efforts and dedication in shaping PAA where it is today.
